Passenger Charter

The IATA Summer Season 2004 saw the successful launch of the Passenger Activity of TNT AIRWAYS.

This start was based on a perfect cooperation with Club Med who's first flight on the aircraft took place on April 3rd 2004, but very fast other Tour Operators being active either in Belgium or abroad, joined the customer list.

The operation was first covered by the famous and reliable Boeing 737 aircraft.
In 2007 TNT Airways is operating 2 B737 and 2 BAe146 in QC (quick change) configuration.

The QC offers the great advantage of covering a dual role (Freighter and Passenger) and enables us to maximize the aircraft utilization and thus optimize our offering.

The Sales and Operations staff is located within TNT Express Belgium offices at Brucargo, as most of the Passenger demands are generated from Brussels for the time being. Our team of highly competent personnel works under the leadership of Mrs Monique Lebersorg. The operational and technical aspects are managed from TNT Airways HQ at Liège such as Flight Ops, Maintenance Management, Ground Ops, Finance, HR, and the complete infrastructure.

The future is promising! Indeed, apart from Club Med, TNT Airways became the preferred Airline of many Touroperators and most of the brokers and/or ad hoc specialists.
